Martin Riley is Vice President of Commercial Properties with over 20 years experience in real estate, finance, management, and government funding. He has a successful track record of developing and implementing strategies and programs that resulted in lowering costs and liabilities. Martin has proven expertise in the following: Portfolio Management and Development, Business Development, Property Management (commercial, office, industrial and retail), Business Systems Implementation, Transaction Structuring and Negotiations, and Consulting.
Prior to joining Property Management Associates, Riley consulted for a regional management consulting company and was responsible for representing and consulting with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations with complicated real estate problems. He provided solutions with management services and the use of sophisticated real estate programs. These programs involved complex legal and financial concepts, with computer spreadsheet and data base solutions. He also provided asset management, property management for commercial, industrial, office, and health care facilities and valuation analysis for hold versus sell recommendations. Riley represented clients in disaster damage claims against FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency.) Martin successfully helped clients receive approximately $64 million in FEMA funding, also was also successful in 3 federal appeals for denied funds for damages to clients’ buildings.
Riley graduated from Gonzaga University where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration. He later went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Riley is also a licensed general contractor in the State of California as well as a licensed real estate broker in California.
